The Sentry Service Promise

“Your Home. Our Focus. On Time.”

I am Joel Hendrickson the owner of Sentry Service, a home inspection business in Sheridan County. I have years of experience in the real estate business, having built and remodeled multiple homes in the county. My background in construction, remodeling and rental housing has provided me with a skill set that will serve you well in your home buying experience. As a Master Electrician I bring a keen eye to the electrical safety in your home purchase.  I am a certified home inspector trained in the International Association of home inspectors Standards of Practice, one of the top-rated associations for home inspectors. I provide inspection services in Sheridan and Johnson and Campbell Counties. Each portion of the home is inspected including roof, attic, exterior, interior, kitchen and appliances, bathrooms, heating and air conditioning systems, electrical systems, plumbing, garage, and foundation. Our reports provide an up-front view of any items that are marked as needing maintenance, defective, or safety related; besides a thorough review of areas inspected. We provide an honest, objective, and thorough inspection report delivered to you in a timely fashion. From your first contact with us through the inspection delivery of your report, you will experience a high mark of professionalism.

What We Inspect and Why

A home inspection is a visual examination of the home's major structure, systems, and components that are visible and safely accessible. Buying a home is typically the biggest investment you will ever make, so it's important to get a home inspection because the inspector can find and document defects that may or may not be obvious to you as a prospective buyer.  Such defects can range from simple replacements or repairs to severe damage or safety and health concerns.
